Meet the team

Co-Founder
Paul
Paul is a web developer and designer based in New York City. Before Pax, he built high-performance digital experiences for major brands across retail, sports, and fashion — shipping work where the craft disappeared into the experience. He builds on the belief that structure is where design lives — that a site reveals its quality in how it holds together.

Co-Founder
Max

FAQ
Common questions.
On the outright plan, you own everything — the code, the repo, the domain, all of it. The monthly plan is designed to be a long-term partnership, not a lease. We retain the codebase. The monthly plan does not include a buyout option — if full ownership is important to you, the outright pricing is the right fit from the start.
Most sites take 2-3 weeks from signed agreement to launch. Larger projects with CMS integration, multiple pages, or complex functionality can longer. You'll always know the timeline before we start — it's in the proposal.
The monthly plan covers hosting, bug fixes, small content updates, and ongoing SEO monitoring.
Yes, as an add-on. We interview you about your business and write copy that sounds like you, not like a marketing agency. If you already have copy, we'll work with it and flag anything that needs tightening.
Bug fixes are always covered. For larger changes — new pages, redesigned sections, new features — we scope and price them as a small project. Most post-launch work is fast and inexpensive because we built the site cleanly the first time.
Yes. Most of our clients are remote. The discovery call, proposal, and revision reviews all happen over video or async. We've built sites for businesses in Indianapolis, New York, and beyond — location doesn't matter.
